Shaun's B-day Party and More..

Yesterday Shaun's dad, Kevin, had a belated birthday party for him. It was fun. We got to just sit and talk and of course eat! We had yummy steaks and baked pototoes. Shaun's step-mother decided to make him a redneck birthday cake. (Pictures below, if you have never seen one) It was very interesting! And I made some Halloween treats for us to eat also. (Also pictured below) I saw the recipe in a parenting magazine that I got this week. They are Rice-Krispie Frankenstein heads. So cute!
Also this weekend we went and bought Emma a potty seat. I know she's not quite ready yet (16 1/2 months), but we wanted to get her familiar with the seat. Well, we tried to put her on it and she screamed her head off! For some reason she is deathly afraid of this potty! Now we just have it sitting around so that she can investigate it herself. And get over her fear of it. Poor baby!!

Look at you all crafty making Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treats! Just so you know I am not surprised that Emma is afraid of the potty seat. I just hope she makes the same noise when she see that potty seat as she does when she sees Ghira. That would be funny!

How fun to find your blog! It will be fun to have Emma in nursery in a few weeks.
