An Innocent Murmur

When we took Emma to the Pediatrician for her two year well check, our doctor said that he heard a murmur.  He said he was not very concerned, most children have a murmur at one time or another.  He wanted to see her in six months to see if he could still hear it.  So, six months later we took her back and he still heard the murmur.  We took her to the Cardiologist today to have her little heart checked out.  I wasn't really sure what to expect or what they were going to do.  They took her blood pressure a few times and did an EKG and listened to her heart for a while.  And I am very happy to say that the doctor said it is nothing to worry about.  She called it an innocent murmur, which just means exactly that.  Thank goodness!!  I'm so, so grateful that she is okay.  The heart is something you don't want to ever get bad news about.  Here are some pictures of her at the Cardiologist's office.
