The Bug

I forgot to do my usual, favorite pictures from Riley's first year of life.
Riley was born , very quickly, on January 27th, 2011 at 11:47 pm.  He weighed 8 lbs and was 22 inches long.  He had a head full of crazy, dark hair.  Which I finally gave in and cut when he was four months old.  For some reason we started calling him Riley Bug when he was born.  And it stuck as his nickname.  He has always been such a happy, easy going baby.  He has been soooo easy.  The hardest time he ever gave me was when he started teething at 6 months old, he would wake up at night. 
He goes to sleep without fussing, plays so well with Emma and Spencer, eats without being picky....  This kid loves his fruits and veggies.  He even likes broccoli.  He loves his sleep.  He goes to bed at 7 and wakes up around 8-8:30.  Unless Emma and Spencer wake him up earlier.  He is starting to say more and more words.  He still loves his mama. 
I am so sad that he is already one.
