Just Bad Luck

It seems we have been having kind of a run of bad luck. First, a little over a month ago, some guy at Shaun's school hit our car! It wouldn't have too bad, if he had INSURANCE or maybe a JOB!!! So, Shaun tells him he will get an estimate of what it will cost and he can pay us back. The next week the guy says he will just get insurance and say we just got in to the accident that day! Is he crazy?! I don't lie and really don't feel good about lying to an insurance company. Shaun said No Way and we are PATIENTLY awaiting our money!
It's not really bad luck, I guess, but we didn't get the house. The day we put in our bid, nobody else had yet, so we were hoping we were in the clear. Nope!! That day someone else put in a bid, then we had to counter and they went OVER asking and got the house! What were they doing bidding on OUR house!! It's ok, I know where they live!! :)
And the worst thing of all....
I have not been feeling very well lately. Horrible headaches and bodyaches, everyday for weeks. But, that's not it. On March 12th, mine and Shaun's 4 year anniversary, I got a call from my OB/GYN's office. The lady on the phone tells me, "Your pap test came back ABNORMAL, and you need to have a pelvic ultrasound, colposcopy with biopsy, and and endometrial biopsy." And the first thing that comes to my head is, great, now I have cancer! And I have to wait 3 weeks to see the doctor. What kind of torture is this? I have the ultrasound the following Monday, which is normal. Then this Monday it's finally time to see the doctor and have my scary tests done. The doctor tells me that the way my pap test came back it could be pre-cancerous or it could just be abnormal since I just had a baby. So, she starts doing the biopsy of my cervix, which hurts, but isn't as bad as I thought. Then, it's time for the endometrial biopsy. She starts and the pain is horrible. Cramping and shooting pain all the way up to above my ribs. I'm thinking this can't be good. She then proceeds to tell me that something strange happened and she wasn't able to get the biopsy and she is afraid that she might have PUNCTURED my uterus. Great!! She has me lay down for a while, so she can figure out what to do next. So, she sends me right away for an ultrasound. And they see free fluid next to my uterus, and maybe it's blood, maybe it's not!! Still in horrible pain, I'm sitting in my car in the parking lot talking to Shaun on the phone, keeping him updated on what is going on. In the background I hear a horn honk, I ignore it thinking it's just background noise. Then, there is a tap on my window. There is an old guy standing there, he shrugs his shoulders and points at his waiting car. This man seriously just got out of his car to tell me, while I'm crying my eyes out, to move so that he can have my spot!! Could this day get any worse?!! Yes, when my doctor calls me and tells me to come and stay in the hospital for the night. They just want to monitor me and make sure I'm not bleeding internally. Now, I have to wait for the results of biopsies that she did get. Which again, is torture. Maybe this will break my bad luck streak and everything will be fine!
So, this is my sob story. Even though we are going through some trials right now, I know how blessed we are in other ways. And I am so thankful for every blessing that I have been given. My wonderful husband and kids and a family that would do anything to help us in our time of need!
And for something not depressing....
They are always watching you.....

Holy cow, I'm so sorry about all your bad luck. I can't believe your medical nightmare! She thinks she may have punctured your uterus? Isn't that what she is trained NOT to do?

I hope it all works out for you. Good luck. Keep us posted.
