A Lot of Catching Up....

June 5th Emma had her 2 Year well check.
24 1/2 pounds
2 feet 10 inches tall
She is still tiny. The doctor also heard a heart murmur. He told us not to worry, they are very common and most kids have them at one time or another. I worry about everything, though. She has to go back in 6 months to see if he still hears it, if so she needs to see a Cardiologist.
And then, Emma got really sick for the first time in her life. She has had a few colds and one ear infection. Tuesday morning at 6:30 am, I woke up to her coughing and whining. I knew something must be up, she never wakes up this early. So, I got up to check on her and she had thrown up all over her crib. I cleaned everything up and she just sat on my lap all day. After dinner she threw up 2 more times, so I took her to Urgent Care. She had a fever, also the first of her life, and a stomach virus. The next few days were rough, but she seems to be back to her old self. And of course this started the day Shaun left for work in Tucson. At least he comes back on Thursday nights. I was so scared, I had never had a sick child before. At least next time I will know what to do.

Before getting sick we had a fun weekend at Shaun's dad's house. We went swimming and had hamburgers and hotdogs.

Update on our house: We signed the papers on Friday and should be getting keys this week. There is a different procedure since it is a foreclosure. But, it is ours and we be moving in very soon. YAY!!!
