Emma is not having the best month. She has been feeling better this week, getting over a stomach virus. Yesterday she got hurt. We were at Aunt Karen's house and all of the kids were playing on a big water slide. If you have never seen one, it is full of air and the kids slide down into a little pool of water. Emma had just gone down and was still playing in the water at the bottom. Another kid decided to come down the slide. And when I say come down, I mean fly down, fast, with legs straight out. And what happens...Emma gets kicked, hard, in the jaw. I felt so sick, I just saw the blood pooling and pouring out of her mouth. Shaun ran to grab her and I threw Spencer at someone. I was just imagining her tongue hanging there or a black eye, anything horrible, it went through my head. I just grabbed her and hugged her. For the second time this month I was terrified that my baby was hurt. But, after the bleeding stopped and I looked her over, the only damage was a good sized hole in her tongue. After 10-15 minutes she was playing again. Being a mother can be so scary sometimes. I am always worried about her and want her to be safe and healthy. But, she's fine and I am so thankful that all she got was a hole in her tongue. Sorry, no pictures. I almost had a heart attack.
Oh, we got the keys to our house!! Yay! We are official home owners. We are painting, carpeting and removing popcorn before we move in, so we are still in our rental. We can't wait until we are actually living in the house.

Sorry I didn't get to visit with you at church today. I'm glad Emma is okay. That really sounded frightening. When is the move date?
We aren't exactly sure. A couple weeks.
