December...Already...Random-ness

I can't believe that it's already December.  There is so much to do to prepare for Christmas.  And I have only gotten a few things done.  We did get shopping done for the kiddos.  And got a super cute decoration and stockings for the mantel.  It's nice to have a fireplace to actually hang the stockings on.  But, the fireplace is old and ugly.  Someday I want to have it updated.  We still need to go buy a tree.  We have always gotten a real tree.  But, I'm afraid of what Spencer will do to it.
Anyway, I just wanted to share some things that have been making me laugh lately.  Emma has had a few silly obsessions.  One is her/everyone's shadow.  Another is mustaches.  One day I told her she had a milk mustache and ever since she has been OBSESSED.  She loves to put her hair on her upper lip and call it a mustache.  I've been trying to get a picture of her doing it, but she won't let me.   When I'm irritated she will tickle me.  She knows how to make me laugh and snap me out of my irritation.
A couple of weeks ago we came downstairs to get breakfast.  I gave each of them their sippy cups.  And Emma clinked their cups together and said "CHEERS".  It was so dang funny.  I laughed for like ten minutes.
The kids are finally starting to feel better.  Spencer is finally sleeping through the night again.  Thank goodness.  Today he didn't wake up until nine.  It was AWESOME.  But, I kept waking up and making sure he was alive.  I got used to him waking up a few times at night.  I hope that is behind us.  We took Emma to the doctor last week to re-check her heart murmur.  Unfortunately, he still heard it and is sending Emma to a Cardiologist.  He still said not to worry.  Murmurs are very common in children.  She is also up to 28 pounds.  Yay!  She is gaining some weight.
