I think I am the only mom who doesn't really care about potty training. It's really not a big deal to me to change a diaper. It actually seems much easier than having to worry about accidents and cleaning up messes. But, I have really started potty training Emma this week. She has been doing great. Only one accident since Monday. I think she has gotten the home training down, but am worried about taking her out. She is afraid to go in public bathrooms. Does anyone have any advice on how to break her fear of public bathrooms?? I have a travel potty seat to take with us. But, if I take her in the bathroom she won't go, and then ends up peeing in her diaper. I don't want to freak her out by forcing her to sit on the toilet....Please help!!
If you have advice, please either leave a comment or e-mail me. blondiesurgtech@yahoo.com
Emma told me today that she doesn't pee-pee in "bipers" (diapers) anymore. She cracks me up.

brynn was like that too. it takes a LOT of practice. I would show them that I sat on the toilet first.. and then it was there turn. it took a lot of attempts. like anything with parenthood.. stick with it.
