Sick of sick!!!

The kids have been sick for the last week and a half.  I am so sick of them being sick.  The runny noses, the coughing, the medicine, the whining and the staying indoors.  I have had enough!  So, yesterday they seemed to be doing a little bit better.  I put on their silly "play outside" clothes (does anyone else do this?) and let them out.  They had so much fun.  If they didn't have snot running down their faces and weren't coughing up a lung, you would never know they were sick. :)  Emma loved finding the oranges that have fallen from the citrus trees in the backyard.  She put them in her bike basket and rode around.  And little Spencer followed behind.

 

Shaun and I got to go to dinner and a movie for Valentine's Day on Saturday night.  It was so nice to get away for a few hours.  We saw the movie Valentine's Day.  It was okay.  I think I was expecting more out of it, since there were so many famous actors in it. 

Emma has been doing great with potty training.  She even goes in public restrooms now.  It's really nice when the store has a kid sized toilet.  Like Target at Arrowhead.  She was so excited about that tiny little toilet.
