We have been pretty dang busy lately. November-January are crazy months. And we now have two birthdays in January. Spencer's is over, now we are preparing for Riley's. We have been trying to take the kids to do fun stuff, along with all of the errands. (That they so patiently endure.) We have gone to parks, Encanto Park, birthday parties, etc. We went to Encanto and right after we got there my camera died. So, I only got these two pics. Pretty soon Riley will be big enough to go on some rides too. I keep telling Shaun that we need to have one more baby. You know, so there is an even number and they can all have a buddy to ride the rides with. :) haha
Spencer had his 3 year well check. His stats:
37.5 inches tall, 50th percentile
31 pounds, 50th percentile.
The doctor says that he is perfectly healthy. YAY!
We took Riley in with Spencer, since I was pretty sure he had an ear infection. Which he did. Ear infection #2 for the Riley-Bug. He weighed in at 19 pounds 1 oz. (Just turned 11 months old) Which is actually heavier than Emma and Spencer were at their one year check ups. I'm hoping he will hit the 20 pound mark by his one year check up. So, I can move him into a front facing car seat. Poor guy's legs are all smashed in his rear facing one.
Shaun is still out of town during the whole week. And he will be for at least the next 8 months. :( It's so much easier to take care of the kids when he is home, but I'm pretty much used to doing everything alone.
Here are some pics that are just cute. Riley is such a good boy. This is him getting ready for bed. He has started laying his head on this little, decorative pillow. So cute! I hope he stays so easy. But, for now I am enjoying the fact that he lays down, drinks his milk, hugs his stuffed animals and falls asleep.
Also this month Emma fell and hit her eyebrow on the dresser. She came up to me and calmly said that she bumped her head. It was bleeding pretty heavily (you know how head wounds are) and I was so scared that she would have to get stitches and have a terrible scar on her face. Shaun took her to Urgent Care and the stupid doctor glued it shut! Her entire eyebrow was purple for a few weeks and the glue ripped out some of her eyebrow hair. I looked up info about this glue and it specifically says DO NOT PUT ON HAIR. Anyway, her scar doesn't look too bad and we are currently awaiting half of her eyebrow to grow back. :) This is her before Urgent Care.
That is our month, so far, in a nutshell. Riley will be one on Friday and his party is on Saturday. Posts about those to come....
