Turkey Day!

Better late, than never.  But, we had our usual busy Thanksgiving.  So much family to see, such little time!  I'm terrible at getting pictures.  But, here are a few shots from our day.
Decorating cookies at Grandma Michelle's.

Going down the slide at Aunt Sherry's.

Emma and Charlotte love Riley!
Driving around with Grandma Charlotte.

Cousin Lincoln and Riley checking each other out.  They are only 4 weeks apart.  (Riley is older)  Lincoln wasn't too sure about Riley touching him.  :)

This is the only time Spencer is still!  :)  So, precious when he is sleeping.

Cousins!!

Wyatt and Jane were visiting from Idaho.  So, of course we went to Encanto Park.  As usual, the kids loved it!  They had fun riding all of the rides and just seeing each other.  Riley will be big enough to go on the rides soon.  He was able to go on the train and the merry go round though.

Just Playing...

Riley loves to play with Emma and Spencer.  He is really getting the idea of toys and how to play with them.  Instead of always sucking on them.  :)  But, he still does quite a bit of toy eating.  He has been vrooming his cars around, throwing balls, pushing around anything that he can....  He loves when Emma pulls him around in the wagon.  I love watching my kids play together and am so grateful that they get along so well.

Riley has started to get the hang of eating with his fork.  He is growing up too fast!!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch with our good friends The Richardson's last weekend.  The kids had fun running around, playing in the bouncy house and playing in a little house full of corn.  We always love hanging out with The Richardson's!  They have two sweet girls.  Shauna said that they are creating girls for our boys!!  :)  I think I can handle having a best friend as in-laws!!

These two are gonna get hitched one day!!  :)

Tall and Skinny...

Riley had his 9 month well check on Friday.  He is perfectly healthy!!  Here are his stats:

Weight: 16 pounds - 0%
Length: 29.75 inches - 90%
Head: 17.25 - 15%

He is still tall and skinny.  Just how we make 'em.  I asked the doctor if I need to be concerned about his weight.  He still said no.  As long as he is growing, he is fine.  But, if I want, I can give him a bottle of Pediasure everyday.  It has more calories than formula.  He is so active, it's hard to get him to put on any weight.  I had to stop nursing him a couple weeks ago.  Since, I am finally getting treatment for all of my health problems.  I have a freezer full of breast milk, so he still gets breast milk along with formula.  I thought when I started bottle feeding him, that he might turn into that chunk that I so badly wanted.  Nope, still skinny!!  He is such a happy baby and such a joy to have in our family!  He is so close to walking and loves to play with Emma and Spencer.  He is a tough one!  But, I guess being the 3rd child, he has to be!!  :)  He has four teeth.  Two on top and two on the bottom.  I sure love my Riley Bug!!

Trunk or Treat

Every year we go to our ward's trunk or treat.  The kids love it!  They get to play games, have chili and hot dogs and of course get tons of candy!  This year Emma chose to be Rapunzel and Spencer chose Buzz Lightyear.  Riley was a pirate, Shaun was a man with tattooed arms and I was some kind of greek goddess.

After trunk or treat we went to Aunt Erin's house for her party.  The kids carved pumpkins and we got to visit with family.

What He's Up to...

I haven't done any updates on Riley lately.  He has been up to TONS of stuff.  He started crawling, sitting, clapping and waving at 6 months.  And he got his 1st tooth.  He started giving high fives, standing by himself, cruising, and he even took his 1st two steps at seven months.  He also got his 2nd tooth at seven months.  He just turned eight months.  So far he can stand up with using anything, he has started climbing and is really trying to walk.  He always seems to have a bruise or scab on his face.  He is pretty much fearless, which is scary.  He is also getting his 3rd tooth.  He got his frenulum (the thing under his tongue) cut a couple days ago.  He is doing great.  He screamed and threw a fit while they did it, but was perfectly fine as soon as they were done.  He has said a few words.  Hi, Mama, Dada and Emma.  He loves to give his mama hugs and kisses.  He had his first illness at seven months, the croup.  We had a rough couple weeks.  Every person in our house getting sick one after the other.  But, it seems like we are just about over the sickness...for now.  He is the biggest mama's boy!  Which I love and don't love at the same time.  He is very busy and happy.  He has the best smile and laugh.  I have started to nurse him less.  He still LOVES to nurse, so it's been difficult.  Every doctor that I talk to tells me to stop nursing and take care of all of my health concerns.  So, I'm slowing weaning him.  He isn't really gagging anymore when I give him a bottle.  So, that's good.  :)  Riley is such an awesome addition to our family!
