Emma went to the dentist for the first time yesterday. She did really well. They were able to get two x-rays and counted her teeth. The dentist was very impressed with how good her teeth looked. He said I'm doing a great job brushing them! :) It always feels good to get told you're doing something right. :) So, no cavities or decay. We are going to try to get them cleaned in 6 months. I'm pretty worried about how the kids teeth are going to end up. I am missing 12 teeth (I was born without them), including my 4 wisdom teeth. I bet everyone didn't know I was a hillbilly! :)
Today Spencer went to the ENT Dr. and got his frenulum (the thing under your tongue) snipped. I felt so horrible! I had to hold him while they numbed his frenulum and then he burned it with a cautery. But, I'm sure he will be thanking me for it later in life. If you don't get it cut, they will talk funny and their teeth get messed up. Busy week for mouths in my family!

poor little guy, I feel bad for these little ones that have no idea what they just had to have done, all they know is that is hurts. Good job for Ema, I hope she can keep up those purly whites!!!!
