State Fair 2009

We went to the state fair this weekend. It was packed! I really don't like when places are packed. People are so dang RUDE! Blowing their cigarette smoke in your face, cutting you off.... Don't get me started! Anyway, Emma was so excited to go all day. She couldn't wait to see the cows and pigs and other animals. We ate lots of fair food and watched the hypnotist show. Those shows are so funny. I always try to get Shaun to go up, but he won't. I want to see someone I know act like a fool! :)

Here are some pictures of Emma looking at the animals.

It's strange...Emma is terrified of dogs. But, doesn't hesitate to touch a huge cow, goat or pig. She kept saying, "Hi cows! Moo!" She is too cute!

There was a children's play area with mini John Deere tractors. Emma loved it. She didn't want to leave.


One of those little "peek show" booths had monkeys. One of them was outside with his trainer. It was the cutest thing! He was wearing a cowboy outfit. You handed your money to him, he put it in the money bag and tipped his hat at you. I wanted to take him home with me!

Shaun took our picture with the monkey. The monkey was holding Spencer's hand, and when he realized that "creature" was touching him he freaked out! Poor kid!


We didn't get a great picture. But, it was cool anyway.
