Thanksgiving Dinners, With a Side of Sick Kids

We had a super busy week!!  The day before Thanksgiving we went to our nephew Wyatt's 4th birthday party.  It was at a really cool place called Pump It Up.  It has a bunch of those inflatable jumping things.  It was really fun.  Adults even got to jump around and do the obstacle courses.

We had two great days of Thanksgiving feasts this year.  One was with Shaun's family in Maricopa.  It was the first time a lot of family got to see Spencer in person.  (Last year I was very pregnant)  It was so nice to see everyone and to see Chris and Melinda's beautiful new home.  The food was great, as always.  And we all had a good time.  The second Thanksgiving feast was at my house on Friday.  I was so worried about how everything that I made would taste.  It was our first time making a turkey and I didn't want to mess it up.  But, it ended up being one of the best turkeys I have ever eaten.  Everyone seemed to have a good time and enjoyed the food.  I'm glad we finally have a house big enough to have people over.  I didn't get any pictures.  My camera battery was dead and I was so busy cooking and cleaning I didn't take any pictures.  Also on Friday, both kids woke up with runny noses.  Spencer is usually a really happy boy, but has been really fussy.  I took him to Urgent Care yesterday and he has his very first ear infection.  In both ears.  Poor guy!  No wonder he has been so crabby.  And on top of that his teeth are coming through.  I can't wait until he feels better.  I would like a decent night's sleep!  Emma seems fine, just a runny and congested nose.  Poor kids.  I hate when my kids don't feel well.
